Harmonizr

Product

Harmonizr was like Facebook Groups on steroids. It was aimed at large social groups like sororities, volunteer groups, or business clubs, and was differentiated by two main areas.

First, it provided much more effective tools for group organizing like mass group text messaging and Doodle style event availability voting (remember, this was 2010).

Second, it motivated the entirety of a large group to help organize through game mechanics, mainly awarding points and badges for accomplishing tasks like organizing events or uploading photos. Those points could then be redeemed for goodies like extra storage.

Role

As co-founder, my responsibilites were product manager, product designer, and frontend developer. I was also in charge of pitching investors and raised $200K in seed funding.
